That's difficult, of course. Doesn't Web TV have (i.e. support) german
language users (umlauts, ß!)? Icelandic ones (modern Icelandic has IIRC
at least á, é, í, ó, ú, ý, as well as eth ð and thorn þ)? :-S

I'd say, write it some way you can cope with, along with a short
explanation (e.g. at the end of your mail).

PS: Even full iso8859-1 has lacks, as we know: we use ö for
o, I don't know what anyone uses for ó (long ö), and oe for the
` `
ligature.
