I just want to reassure those who might have noticed that little to
nothing has apparently been happening at the course's home page. I do
have new lessons that I could publish, but since I intend to overhaul
the whole thing from start, I'm concentrating on that instead.
So the last two weeks have been spent designing and executing the
changes; "chapter 1", which will include most of the material from
lessons 1-3, excluding verbal conjugations, but including some new
material (from beyond the old lesson 6), is nearing completion. It
will include 5 "lessons" (a good deal smaller than the old units, but
similarly organized). The chapter will be just one (large) file.
Each chapter is intended for the average norse_course student to chew
on for about one month (considering the typical pace here); perhaps
even longer for some (?). Every chapter will include a vocab and
grammar reference list, and extensive exercises.
I believe I can have chapter one ready in .doc format (and hopefully
.rtf format, which I'm positive to using) by Friday, hopefully
Thursday (at my current pace).
