Well, the armor for one thing was far out of period to my knowledge. But I
have to say I thought the movie was quite cool too. After getting the book
and reading Crighton's intro it was even cooler. For those who haven't read
it, he says the book came largely from a bet with another literary scholar
that he couldn't make Beowulf interesting to students. Of course, it did
take a little literary license to get there :-P
