I always thought it was Swedish; the difference between them is very
fuzzy at times. Probably East Norwegian, then :) In any case, it was
something modern.

But the Viking names in it were either something made up, or some
Proto-Norse or Proto-Germanic or something. In any case, I didn't
notice any ON featuring in it.

And I hope that nobody took the movie seriously as a historical
resource! Those "Vikings" were ridiculous.
