yes, many folks have been requesting such a list, and a URL was provided,
but condensing it to just those characters appropriate to ON/OI was helpful.

those are for Windows - the equivalent on a Macintosh is to use an alt-code
to create the appropriate accent, release the alt key, and then follow it
with the appropriate vowel:

alt-e = accent
alt-u = umlaut

therefore:

alt-e, a = á
alt-e, e = é
alt-e, i = í
alt-e, o = ó
alt-e, u = ú

alt-u, o = ö

additionally, the ð, Ð, þ, and Þ characters are alt-shift-3, 4, 5 and 6
respectively, but these do not properly display in many browsers and word
processors for Mac unless you import an appropriate font - however, I'm on
a Windows machine right now, which doesn't have the bookmark file full of
pages for those fonts which is on my Mac, so I just have one URL to get
fonts which will display the eth and thorn characters correctly:

http://www.georgetown.edu/cball/oe/oe-fonts.html

hope that helps any Mac users,
