Yesterday I found out how to make accents over the vowels
by using the <Alt Gr> key on my PC keyboard. Do you have
an <Alt Gr> key on *your* keyboard?

No, no <Alt Gr> for me! I also have instructions on how to "switch"
keyboards back and forth from American to Icelandic in a toggle fashion, but
that project is for a future rainy day.
