How's that written in IPA or SAMPA?
In any case, thanks for that piece of etymology :) I think, though,
that both I and Haukur will try to limit this list to language study,
so linguistic discussions should not be taken much further than this;
if any of you are interested in more linguistics, there are plenty of
lists, and I'd personally recommend the flame-free list
CONLANG@.... to which I'm an active subscriber.
