Hello everyone,
Today is the final day of a competition whose aim is to support various scientific disciplines in the Czech Republic.
A group of young linguists from Prague are taking part, too.
Their video "Pussyfoot, linvistický detektiv" (unfortunately in Czech only) touches mainly on phonetics and etymology (apparently, due to the three-minute limit, it doesn't include more, altough some other disciplines are mentioned at the very beginning).
If you also wish to express your support, you can click on "hlasovat" and then confirm the application's request (verifying the voter's uniqueness). Note that only Facebook account owners can do so, which I think is pretty discriminating, but what can we do, right?

I have already asked the guys for English subtitles, but they won't be able to make them available until it's too late.

P.S.: If anyone is interested, I can try and translate the text of the video into English (though it won't be easy at all, because of the allusions and references to Czech culture and current affairs).
