I think that those investigations about the genetic ancestry of Europeans are interesting, informative and all, but it does not seems that genetic evidence has much to add to historical linguistics any more than genes may determine a cultural trait.Lalueza-Fox declined to discuss his teams work, but he cautions against making too many assumptions about the peopling of Europe using just a handful of ancient genomes from a single time period. Its going to be lots of different migrations and movements, he says. Theres going to be plenty of room for investigation in the next few years.

Flaviano Pereira da Silva======================= Flaviano Evaristo Pires The difference between sentiment and being sentimental is the following: Sentiment is when a driver swerves out of the way to avoid hitting a rabbit on the road. Being sentimental is when the same driver, when swerving away from the rabbit hits a pedestrian. -- Frank Herbert, "The White Plague" Today is Boomtime, the 7th day of Chaos in the YOLD 3180.Em 07-01-2014 13:57, Joao S.
