I don't think so. Celtic has *karro- 'wagon' from *krs-o- (with -rs- >
-rr-), so I think Proto-Celtic speakers became acquainted with the word
*only* after wheeled vehicles were invented (a similar consideration can
be made with regard to Proto-Italic and Latin currus).
For this reason, along with its scarce attestation, I think this is a
pre-Kurganic word.
