But Basque tS- /tx/ (as well as c- /tt/) is most often the result of
*expressive* palatalization, so the comparison is phonetically impaired.

Krahe quotes the (West) Germanic form *tikki:na- 'kid', with a
diminutive suffix -i:na-.
