OK as regards the descriptions of burials in Vedic texts.

But, where in the Vedic corpus do we find evidence for the burial of horse with his master in a manner similar to Arkaim's man-and-horse burials? David Anthony (_The Horse, the Wheel, and Language_, p. 409) writes that "the horse sacrifice at a royal funeral is described in RV 1.162", yet I can't see any reference to a funeral in this asvamedha hymn.
