That's what it is, though the actual Slavic pre-form it *veNtje (no
final nasal); the suffix is a reflex of the PIE comparative *-jes, the
neuter gender of it being used in an adverbial function in Slavic.
*veNtje-slavU is a typical wishing name ('more fame'), not a Veneto-Slav
or anything of the sort ;)
