That's as it should be, I think: as I understand it, MHG
/ei/ becomes Bav. <oa> (e.g., <kein> ~ <koa>), but MHG /î/
becomes Bav. <ei> (<drei>, <Schwein>). MHG /iu/ also
becomes Bav. <ei> (<neu> ~ <nei>).

At least, that fits what I've seen and agrees with
<http://bar.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boarisch> (which kindly warns
the reader that 'Der Artikl is im Dialekt Obaboarisch
gschrim worn'.)
