Here it goes:
"Dear Dr. Brighenti,
The Brill Publishers have invested a lot of money in our IEED project and also in making our completed etymological databases available through the internet. They have acquired all the rights and I had to remove these databases from our website.
Unfortunately, Brill does not sell individual subscriptions to their Brill Online website at this moment, but I try to persuade them that this is a good and profitable thing to do. I really hope that this service will be available in the near future.
Best regards,

The best we can hope for in the future is an individial pay-per-view access to the databases, which, as is now clear, will be soon removed from the old IEED Project website run by the Leiden University (at least the greater part of them, and particularly those which have been published as books).
Sob!
Regards,
Francesco Brighenti
