Dear All,
My name's Miroslava and I'm quite interested in historical linguistics and the Indo-European language family.
Some time ago, I came across the following "sentence". I was told it was an Indo-European language, but I cannot identify it. Can possibly somebody help me? I'll be grateful for any advice.
The sentence reads as follows (I'm using X-SAMPA):
n'i: tr'ebji:S tr'm'eja: tu:t_S a a: ma:na wv'eja:
The following would be (supposedly) the same language or a variety thereof:
mi i:ma ma:r t_Ses v'elo:j je na:s
AND
mi laro: u:r uS tar v'et'e
na:s
Unfortunatelly, I cannot find the source. Hopefully, somebody can help me in spite.
Wishes,
Mirka
