"Shivraj" wouldn't know science if it hit him in the head,
George. I too have interacted with him on IndiaArchaeology.

He's a follower of a modern unorthodox cult within Hinduism
called the Arya Samaj, the Hindu counterpart of the Mormons
or Jehovah's Witnesses. Notice that he has in a recent post
already begun proselytizing to the list that reincarnation
finds mention in the Vedas, which it does not, but which is
an important article of religious faith for the Arya Samaj.

He's also a Rajput, and Rajput supremacist of sorts. If you
have the time to waste on the like, see the Rajput-eulogizing
site, which Shivraj recommends to the IndiaArchaeology list,
at http://hindurajput.blogspot.com/#Protection_of_Hinduism .
The site makes clear, just as Shivraj takes great pains to do,
that the Rajputs are indigenous to India and most certainly
not descended from Aryan invaders. It seems that their clans
are instead descended variously from the sun god, the moon god,
and the sacred fire. It's just plain good old science, you
see.

"Shivraj Singh" is, moreover, recognized by Wikipedia as what
they call a "sock puppet" (See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/
Wikipedia:Sock_puppetry ), which information was relayed to me
by Francesco and which I relayed to the IndiaArchaeology list,
but which post seems to have now disappeared, at least I can't
locate it with the search function. Did you happen to record
that post and have the message number, Francesco?
