The root for 'evening' is reconstructed

*we-kWsp-er-o 'evening' --> 'that one to(wards) the nigth'

where

*kWsep- inside it means 'night': Skt ks.ap- 'nigth' Hitt i-spant- 'night'

BUT this *kWsep- is a noun-root or we also have verbs associated with it?

Also as I know there wasn't prefixes in PIE so in this case what are the cognates of this 'we-' ?

And what particle is this?

Thanks,
Marius
