Lykaon in the Greek legends (Arcadia) was considered to be the founder of the first city: Lykosoura. I suspect this lyk- stem is not the "normal" Greek word lykos "word", but may represent some Pre-Greek root. A possibility is that it meant "peak" or "mountain", cf. Lynkeia, Lyrkeia, Lyko:reia ("wolf-mountain" according to Greek folk-etymology), and even Lokris.
Lygkeus and Lyrkos could be linked if both were dissimilated forms of an older *Lulk- < *luk-l-
If we add Deukalion to this "group", we could assume a proto-form *Deuklion < *Dleuk-li-on; so Lykaon < *dluk-; and Glaukos could come from same form.
