Then perhaps, as the Powerhouse of Poznan, you can find some grant money to start the project. In the US, linguistiss is divvied between NEH, which is almost broke and NSF, but they're into linguistics as it helps encryption. So check to and see if the EU offers money. You could argue that it's cheaper to use Eastern European professors but I'm sure you should be able to finagle a few million euros.
