Yes, except that the Slavic nasal vowel reflects the e-grade (occurring
also in some Germanic derivatives) or possibly the zero grade -- perhaps
something like *lendHom, coll. *ln.dHah2 (Slavic has both neuter and
feminine reflexes), cf. also OPr. lindan 'valley'. As for the meaning,
in Slavic the emphasis is on 'waste, uncultivated' -- apparently the
Lendians specialised in reclaiming open wastelands (including the
population voids resulting from Germanic migrations?).
