He's wrong, and I replied to your explanation, not his. If you want
to change your criticism of my theory, I'll argue against the new as well.

Even if *ahuho- existed, and gave *a:uho-, which I doubt, where did
it come from? I suppose he gets *xsus- < *xuss- but you said the weak
case was *xauses-, not *xauss- or *xuss-. I'd say *xauswo:s with
*xusus- with both au > u and w(e) > u (so since I've said u-u > u;
there wouldn't be a difference).
