As for ethnic names with *-(i)ko-, we have the Osci (Gk. Opikoi) and
Falisci, as well as other Italic tribes: the Volsci, Marruci, Hernici,
Labici and Aurunci. The fact that in *et(ro)rous-ko- the suffix is added
to a compound is of little importance. The name of the country
(*et(ro)rousja: > *etru:zia > Etru:ria) happened to be a compound --
that's all that there is to it.
