I am open to the possibility, but I haven't read anything particularly
convincing on the subject. Of course, Brittonic and Gaulish were
closely related langauges, so I don't know how easy it would be for us
to dissect one from the other at this point in time. If there were
still Gaulish speakers in rural areas of Armorica when Britons began
settling there (and I don't see whay there couldn't have been), they
probably adopted Brittonic without much trouble.
