I can't find 'Vandal' in the books I've OCR'ed.
It would be too recent for Hubschmid.

Not the word Vandal, but some possible Germanic adstrate in N. African Berber and possibly N. African Arabic. I realize they were only in power for a hundred years or so, but they have contributed something.

Although they were in Spain, any contribution would be confused with Gothic, Suebian or Frankish (via French loans)
