Archaeologist Gregory Possehl may have said there was some
continuity between the first (= Harappan) and second (= Gangetic)
urbanization in South Asia, yet after reading Andrew Lawler's
article I wondered, WHERE are the alleged 1200 BCE cities in the
Gangetic basin?
