PIE font

A couple of years ago I grew tired of the awkwardness of our notation
on a computer keyboard and, being a hobbyist font maker, created a
PIE font which I have tested for some time and found useful. I have
uploaded that font in the Files section (PIE.ttf). You can preview it
in the file "PIE font.pdf" also in the Files section.

This is based on the notational system used by Fortson (2004) and
Sihler (1995). My goal was to rudce each phoneme to a single key
stroke (or Shift+keystroke.) Digraphs and trigraphs such as /k^/
and /gwh/ are reduce to single-key compound characters, and that
cumbersome subscript on the laryngeals such as /h3/ is compounded
into the character.

I know this will not please everyone because, for instance, it is not
exhaustive, e.g. the laryngeals comprise only three. Nontheless
please feel free to try it. I would like to hear from users whether
it is useful, how it can be improved, and whether there is another
extant font that is superior.
