Dear Francesco,

I'm interested in this article,

You may add to the connections of Australian some Amerind languages,
especially Fuegian languages,
This was spotted before WW2 by Rivet
Cf. BSL 1925 "les Australiens en Amerique"
You can find the text on the site of the "Bibliothèque nationale de France"
google books does not seem to have it in full
but the dogma of the one-shot spread of Human beings in the America has
pushed that kind of observations aside.
As it's written in French,
I suppose it's one more reason to ignore it.

Not all the comparison made By Rivet are overwhelming
but some are clear and impressive
Such as the word "tooth" which can be reconstruction as *horre
