far east the Volcan confederation stretched. Initially
(as of ca. 500 BCE) it only contacted with Yastorfers.
Your view is not impossible, but I'll stick with the
Marcomanni=Przeworkers for the time being because of
the Maroboduus connection. Also, continuing your idea,
the Gubin Yastorf (whence mostly Przeworsk derives)
could also be "men of the March", this time directed
against the Veneti/Venedi. If so it could go back some
centuries before Ariovistus.****
