The word does have several meanings in Greek. But where is its etymology? Is there any proof to show that the german cognate is earlier? And is this cognate connected to astrology?

You are talking nonsense. And for once I can prove it.

I consider completely useless to look for Indic a-hora-tra as you did :
Quotation :

2. The word Hora is found in many ancient classics. It is taken from the skt
word aHORAtra
KP

Greek Ho:ra has a large array of meanings which_I_gave_
and an obviously cognate in Germanic *ye:r.
It requires to be utterly stupid and incompetent to look for a dubious
hypothesis
to explain something that is readily explained with an obvious cognate.
Your hypothesis does not even account for y- in ye:r !!

What about Sedna in MBh ?
You haven't answered this question.
