Right.

That is why I have reconstructed _the_ Proto-Language.

The PL parent is FA-RHE.

Egyptian <w3>, 'far'; Sumerian <ul>, 'distant'

PIE *wer-, 'wide';

with which another PL root has been confused:


PL FA-RO.

Egyptian <wr>, 'large, many'; Sumerian <ul>, 'swell (really 'multiply')'

PIE *wer-(s-), 'tall, large'.
