But how is that obvious? The name is attested in
writing, and is 'Mitanni', not 'Mittani'.

Lookalike linguistics won't be tolerated (surely?)
on a linguistics list, however, and that's all you
have with a Mittani-Midhuna comparison, I'm afraid.
