The i-Umlaut is seen in Dutch in:

Germanic *a => Dutch e/ee
Goth. hafjan ~ Du. heffen
Goth. fani ~ Du. veen

The a- and i-Umlaut of Germanic *e ~ *i is maintained
(though lengthened *e and *i merge as <ee>)

The a- and i-Umlaut of Germanic *o ~ *u was largely lost
(both merged as Du. <o>, lengthened <oo>), but sometimes [in
the presence of consonantal factors] maintained (Du. <u>,
lengthened <eu>).

There is no i-Umlaut of long vowels in the West, although it
is common in the Eastern parts of the Dutch area (Holl.
groen ~ Eastern greun (grön), German grün).
