Thor ate his charriot-goats and regenerated them, using the goatskin and their bones. Thjalfi cracked a bone, and one goat ressurrected limp.
Tantalos, father of Pelops, stole ambrosia from the gods, and cooked his own son serving it to the gods; Demeter, distracted by her grief, ate his shoulder; later replaced by an ivory prothesis...

Assunto: [tied] Pelops and Thjálfi : a common PIE source

Take a look at stories of Thjálfi (Norse) and Pelops (Greek), there's a lot of similarities.
1. Death and ressurrection of someone who was eaten.
2. Someone eating a part of a severed, cooked body
3. A young boy taken by a god as his servant.
4. Pelops taken from a kind of cauldron.

I think these myths could be compared to Trita's, Indra's helper as Thjalfi was Thor's and Pelops was Poseidon's.
