Personal names of adjectival origin are not always complimentary. Cf.
Gk. Strábo:n from <strábos> 'squinting', ON Ill(h)ugi 'malicious,
ill-natured', Lat. Claudius from <claudus> 'lame', etc.

Even epithets given to kigs and heroes aren't always nice. Poor Harald
