What do you mean news?
The Dené-Caucasian people have been out there for
years.
Salish, of course, is usually either seen as an
isolate or somehow related to various non-Na-Dené
languages, therefore, it's not related to Tlingit by
anyone I've ever come across.
Tlingit, Haida and Eyak are usually linked to Na-Dené
although some claim Haida and Tlingit as isolates
