Fine, I take your point that the media is useful and I was using a
disparaging tone there.

What I wanted to stress is that when one takes on a whole stratum of
loanwords which is well established and tested within the scientific
community for years, the forum is just not enough to accomodate what
it takes. You would need to take on the substitution rules in groups
of words in parallell and point out the faults in the argumentation
which led to the establishment of the findings in the first place. I
just don't see this happening here.

Then there is another issue, which is that there is a very big
variety in quality of argumentation here. And all this serious
consideration given to long range comparisons...! My frustration with
this may have contributed to my choice of words. But I will not make
myself a judge of that, I will just draw my own conclusions and stop
answering to some of the postings.
I will also save a lot of time in my busy life.
