By *H3ei- he means the *oi of *oi-no-s.

180° from the right answer; the oerative word for 'one' is -n(o)-; the
*H3ei- is merely deictic.

There is a *dh- element that means 'body/self' but is not involved
here.(e.g. Egy Dt.f, 'himself')

Yes, I agree. You see this in Egyptian p3 and PIE *pa:-, 'be in front'.

More about *ka? might be interesting.
