 The connection of Ar with high mountains is more forced and is connected to the biblical character Aaron, elder brother of Moses.

 None in the huge spectrum of Aryan theories, including one that connects them with Afganistan, identifies them with mountain people.

On the other hand, the meaning high born is not economical. It is more social in nature and by the time this meaning is ascribed, the Varna/caste system has become more of a social order from an economic division of labour.  

You are wrong in saying that brahmins have overlorded every one. Can I say that IT people in India today are overlording   to enjoy at the expense of every one else????
