I heard a news oddity yesterday on the (US) National
Public Radio feed
specifically "The Bryant Park Project"
Blue eyes only go back 6-10,000 years ago
Now this topic is definitely off-topic except the
spread of blue eyes may be linked to either the spread
of agriculture to Europe and Western Asia or to the
spread of IE --my conjecture, not theirs
Blue eyes also exist in N. Africa which complicates
things a bit
