I wonder about Rom. "jeg" and "jughini/jughina", jigãri, jigoare,
etc., if they belong here
too... The "j" can be easely explained due "yu-" > "ju" cf.
Latin "iucare" > "juca". I am not sure about the "g" there but we
know too that there is a latin final "k" where we have anomalously a
Romanian "g" ( Latin vitricus - Rom. vitreg).

jeg= dirt
jughini= try to get the dirt off skin due scratching it.

the actual tries to etymologise it here are multiple, reaching all
