200 is about 7 generations of 30 years
so it means plenty of time for changes.
When it comes to FRench -ill- (= Italian -gli-)
German has the old 1850 way of saying -ill- as -lj-
Since 1900, I suppose new loans would have -j-
And we have no reason to suppose all loans are from *one* slavic dialect.
