The point here is because on one hand, Mandukeyas, the disciples of Mandukya are mentioned in Rg Veda, composing rules of phonetics and on the other, they also are referred in the vamsa brahmanas of Br Up. Does
The antiquity of Mandukeya is again indicated by being a reciepient of one Rg Veda sakha for further propagation.
