To assert a *d-prefix for PIE, the minimum requirement would be to show the
existence of other *C-prefixes.

Good remark.

Apart from the *d- prefix, actually, it is #t? (glottalized)-,
other prefixes are :
- s "allegedly" mobile
- T : voice status unclear :
Hittite te-kan "earth"
Greek kh-th-ôn (-T)
Latin humus (no T)
-m is also a possible suffix.

It is hardly possible that PIE had this category of modification for just
one morpheme.

Well,
the -s in English he make-s
is the one and only morpheme in English that indicates Person.
So it cannot exist !?

1) Latin arbor shows an initial PIE *(H)a(:)-; *deru- shows no trace of this
phoneme;
2) <arse> is English; the PIE form is *(H)e(:)rs-; Latin <dorsum>, 'back',
is probably a derivative of *der-, 'flay', + -*s; cf. Latvian dir^sa,
'backside'. *der-s- shows no trace of the initial phoneme (*H) we would
expect from a derivation from *(H)e(:)rs-.
======
Because it starts with glottal stop
t? + ? = t?
Is that too hard to understand ?
Note :
I have stated that North Caucasian has
t:aru with a long consonant in this word tree.

3) There is no PIE *eigh- that I can find. Furthermore, it is *deigh^- NOT
*deigh-.
==========
I don't care about that kind of things.
I believe it's inaccurate most of the time.

4) There is no PIE *dneph- that I can find.
========
Look at Greek dnephos.

===========
*d-prefix is false because the basis of *dyeu- is *dei-.

I suggest you have a more careful look at a previous mail
by M. Gasiorowki who explained the root was *dyew
and Sanscrit deiva was a late creation.

Summary conclusion: the ramblings of a mind which considers unorthodox
methods as a badge of honor - the linguistic rebel without a cause.
