Welcome Mr. Ryan! MacDonald Inst project is titled "Languages and
origins in Europe," and not "Lanuguages and Origins in Indo-Europe."

Can't wait for the following pubs especially the second from the top:

"A range of further articles are in preparation or planned, on the
following themes:

• trees vs. networks as appropriate representations for language
divergence;

• new methods and results which bear on the issue of the early
history of Indo-European as a tree or a dialect continuum;

• new methods and results which bear on the issue of the early
history of Germanic as a tree or a dialect continuum;

• problems with linguistic palaeontology as a supposed linguistic
dating technique;

• the concept of `splits' in language lineages and the calibration
of proposed methods for dating them. "
