****GK: That's probably what it was. I had hundreds
and hundreds of acquaintances who interpreted it as I
did. They clearly were unfamiliar with the the word,
and "Yab" for them was "Ya by" as for me. The general
sense of the sentence was grasped as explained (the
"silent" etc...)****
