The <r> has nothing but coincidence to do with anything.

I read in an etymological dictionary that the
"I fuck thy mother." meaning "Thou art a whoreson."
may be augmented to
"I fuck thy house." meaning "I fuck thy mother and wife (and eventually also
you daughter)." thus "Thou art a whoreson and a cuckold."

This word is fully appropriate for such use also from the viewpoint of
the articulation, because any good such exclamation shall contain <r>.
I do not think that the English "heck" and "gosh"
can bring such relief as our "kurva", "do prdele"; "hergot", "sakra" a
"kruci.
