I was not home,
and I did it partly from memory.
I agree that the root is x_f_t with three consonants
"face, in front of, etc"
and it actually makes the comparison to CaPuT all the more compelling.
As regards "pot, vessel" it is : x_bb or x_b_x_b (In Budge T1 p.539)
surfacing in Coptic as hpau "vessel, pot"
See Crum p.692 (with hori)
I noticed more than 10 years ago that these two words could account for PIE kap-ut "head" and kap/kup "pot, cup, vessel".
