I've slightly modified my derivation based on other changes that
seem to occur in Baltic and Slavic. Most of them I talked about
before. Approximately:

*pedm,wo+
*pedm,s.wo+ (insertion as in *xYrudWhwo>rusvas)
*pedims.wo+
*podims.wo+ (contamination w/ *pod+)
*podiws.wo+
*poduws.wo+
*podujs.wo+ (dissimilation)
*podus.jwo+ (metathesis)
*podux.jwo+
*poduxjwo+
*podux'jwo+
*podUx'jwo+

Then, in most Slavic dia. > lang.:

*podUx'jwa:
*podUs'jwa:
*podUsjwa:
*podUs'jwa:
*podUs^jwa:
*podUs^Iwa:
*podUs^Iwa
*podUs^Iva
