In some varieties of Spanish/Ibero-Romance there
nescato is a type of mushroom. I suppose it's a
borrowing from Basque. I found the word in the Pequeño
Larrouse but have never heard it and no one I've ever
asked knows the word either but I suspect it's
probably from NE Spain/Pyrenees or from Aragonese. If
there are any Spaniards on the list, they may know it,
and know if it's edible, poisonous or psychedelic.
